Who We AreAbout Us
As we begin again from the ground up at Sandpoint Bible Fellowship SBF), it is imperative to understand that God is at the center of everything we do. We believe that when we follow God’s plan in God’s way and in God’s time, we are in the will of God which is the best place to be. We also understand fully that when we are doing what God has called us to do, there will be trials as is promised in the Bible. If you are looking for a church family this may be the place for you as we truly focus on developing Christian leaders, making disciples, strengthening families and having real relationships. While I know that a lot of churches say that at times, it is our foundational statement that we as a family of believers is building on.
Church is supposed to be the place that we come and share the burdens of a lost world with each other and take the time to build each other up in love. If we can do these things right, be will know that we are Christians by the love we show not only to one another, but also to a hurting and lost world. We need to be the salt and the light in a culture that has lost its collective way. At SBF, we truly want to live this out in a way that is tangible and felt by not only the community around us, but by each and every person that the Holy Spirit has led to be apart of our small piece of the body of Christ.
This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a church that is impacting the families that currently attend and looking to grow by becoming a real family with the heart of God at its center. There are many opportunities for ministry if that is what you are looking for, but more than anything else, we teach exegetically the complete Word of God. Which means we spend time on the things that aren’t as fun to hear because ultimately, we are called to be changed by the Word and the Spirit, not change the Word to fit our beliefs. If you are looking for a place that is true to the Word of God and centered around loving each other as God commanded, this is just the place for you. We are no longer the same church that the community used to know, but rather a restart that is only chasing what God is calling us to do.
